4D Development Pathway™

Registration is not confirmed until the applicable registration requirements have been completed and payment, an approved purchase order, or another payment arrangement accepted by 4D Transformation has been received.

Program fees are listed on the applicable registration page and may vary by cohort.

Individual participants may pay using the payment methods available during registration. Employer-sponsored participants may request an invoice or purchase-order arrangement where available.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all program fees must be paid in full before the program begins.

Registration is for the individual named at the time of enrollment and may not be transferred except as provided under the substitution and transfer provisions below.

Participants are responsible for reviewing program dates, session times, format, time zone and participation requirements before registering.

Unless otherwise stated, virtual cohort times are listed in U.S. Eastern Time (ET).

Programs vary in duration and requirements. Current program formats include:

4D Career™
Live, interactive career development workshop.

4D Leader™
Live, interactive leadership development workshop.

4D Practitioner™ Certification
Six-week applied certification experience that includes live cohort sessions, individual coaching and application of the 4D Transformation System™ to a real transformation initiative.

4D Architect™ Certification
Six-month applied certification experience that includes live cohort sessions, individual transformation coaching and application of the 4D Transformation System™ to an active, cross-functional transformation.

Specific dates, schedules and requirements are provided on the applicable registration page and/or program materials.

We understand that plans and professional circumstances can change.

30 or More Calendar Days Before the Program Start Date

Participants who cancel at least 30 calendar days before the program start date may choose either:

• A refund of the registration fee paid; or

• A transfer of 100% of the registration investment to another available cohort of the same program.

Any non-refundable third-party payment processing fees, if applicable and permitted by law, may be deducted from the refund.

15–29 Calendar Days Before the Program Start Date

Registration fees are non-refundable. However, the participant may transfer 100% of the registration investment to another available cohort of the same program beginning within 12 months of the original program start date.

14 Calendar Days or Fewer Before the Program Start Date

Registration fees are non-refundable.

A participant may request a one-time transfer to another available cohort of the same program beginning within 12 months of the original program start date. Transfers are subject to availability and approval by 4D Transformation.

After the Program Has Begun

Registration fees are non-refundable and generally may not be transferred after a program has begun.

In exceptional circumstances, 4D Transformation may, at its sole discretion, approve a transfer or credit. Approval in one circumstance does not create an obligation to approve future requests.

Failure to attend a program or session does not entitle a participant to a refund, credit or transfer.

Participants are responsible for attending the scheduled sessions and completing applicable program requirements.

For multi-session certification programs, missing an individual session does not automatically result in removal from the program; however, participants must satisfy the applicable completion and certification requirements.

Recordings, make-up sessions or alternative assignments are not guaranteed unless specifically included in the program or offered by 4D Transformation.

Where permitted under these Terms, a registration may be transferred one time to another available cohort of the same program.

Transfers:

• Are subject to availability;

• Must generally be used for a cohort beginning within 12 months of the original program start date;

• May not be converted to cash;

• May not be applied to another 4D program without prior written approval from 4D Transformation; and

• Are based on the amount originally paid.

If the future cohort has a higher registration fee, the participant will be responsible for paying the difference. No refund will be provided if the future cohort has a lower fee unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Organizations sponsoring an employee's participation may request to substitute another eligible participant before the program begins.

Substitutions are subject to program eligibility requirements and approval by 4D Transformation.

For 4D Architect™ Certification, any substitute participant must independently satisfy the program's application and eligibility requirements before the substitution is confirmed.

Employer payment does not guarantee successful completion or certification.

The individual participant remains responsible for satisfying all participation and certification requirements.

4D Transformation reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, combine or cancel a cohort due to insufficient enrollment, facilitator illness, events beyond our reasonable control or other circumstances that materially affect our ability to deliver the program as planned.

If 4D Transformation Cancels a Program

Participants may choose:

• A refund of registration fees paid for the cancelled program; or

• A transfer of 100% of the registration investment to another available cohort of the same program.

If 4D Transformation Materially Reschedules a Program

Participants unable to attend the revised schedule may choose:

• A transfer to another available cohort of the same program; or

• A refund of registration fees paid for the affected program.

4D Transformation is not responsible for travel, lodging, lost wages, employer costs or other incidental or consequential expenses incurred by a participant in connection with a program cancellation or schedule change.

Programs and cohorts may be subject to minimum enrollment requirements.

If minimum enrollment is not reached, 4D Transformation may reschedule, combine or cancel the cohort.

If a cohort is cancelled because minimum enrollment is not reached, participants will be offered the options described in Section 7.

Registration and payment for a certification program provide access to the learning experience but do not guarantee certification.

The 4D Practitioner™ Certification and 4D Architect™ Certification require successful completion of defined program requirements.

Requirements may include, depending on the program:

• Participation in required live sessions;

• Completion of required assessments, assignments and applied work;

• Development of the applicable 4D Blueprint;

• Participation in coaching sessions;

• Required presentations or demonstrations of work;

• Application of the methodology to an appropriate transformation initiative; and

• Demonstration of satisfactory understanding and application of the 4D Transformation System™.

Detailed certification requirements will be communicated to participants as part of the applicable program.

4D Transformation determines whether certification requirements have been successfully completed.

Participants who do not satisfy the requirements may complete the learning experience without receiving certification.

4D Practitioner™ Certification and 4D Architect™ Certification are applied experiences designed around real organizational transformation work.

Participants are responsible for selecting an initiative appropriate for use during the program and for ensuring they have the authority or organizational permission necessary to discuss and work on that initiative.

Participants should not disclose confidential, proprietary, personally identifiable, legally privileged, export-controlled or otherwise restricted information during cohort sessions, coaching sessions, assignments or use of program tools.

Participation in a 4D program does not override any confidentiality, intellectual property, data protection, employment or other obligations a participant owes to their employer or another organization.
